This is one of my favorite hand painted collections that I designed while in school. I took inspiration from Balenciaga and created a very "out of my comfort zone" collection that is fun, funky and definitely for the avant garde consumer. All four designs were hand painted in gouache and vary in size from 16"X 20" to 5"X 5". The original design, most similar to the Balenciaga inspiration inspired the rest of the fun designs, including the tossed toads, ditsy floral and "braided" fabric prints.
