This collection was designed for bedding, including designs for the comforter, back of comforter, sheets, pillowcases and various decorative pillows. I used Egypt as my inspiration because I think that Egyptian design and colors are unisex and have a good range of decorative versus simple for the very wide span of customers. The comforter is a geometric design made up of the word "goodnight" in Egyptian Arabic. Unless you speak Arabic, you would never know. However if you do know, it is definitely a cool and unexpected element! The back of the comforter is the famous Egyptian Unk, while the sheet set is based off of a design on a famous religious gate in Cairo. All of these designs were hand painted in gouache and dye and are in repeat.
