These fun and tiny designs were are hand painted (with a 0 brush) as playing card designs. I tried to think what people who get together and play cards might also be doing, and in my mind they would be eating Chinese or Japanese take out! Each Asian fusion or sushi design was painted with dye and gouache and is to scale. You are looking at designs for the back of the cards, king, queen, jack, joker, and the box, which I designed to be a Chinese food container with numbers 1-10 written in Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Thai.
